Glenn Foy, Chairman of the Board

Mr. Foy has a long track record of leading technology-based organizations from their earliest stages to market leadership. Prior to Innovative Energy, Mr. Foy was President of Cardiva Medical, a venture-funded commercial stage Company in the Interventional Cardiology space of medical devices. In his career, Mr. Foy has developed or commercialized technology in business areas such as fighter aircraft, cancer, care of neonates, interventional cardiology, laparoscopic surgery, women’s health, and rocket systems. Since his career has been focused on privately held companies, he has raised over $150M in capital from private individuals to the public markets. Mr. Foy has a B.S. in Engineering, B.S. in Biochemistry, and a M.S. in Management and is a holder of a number of U.S. and foreign patents.

Richard G. Ross, PE

Director and member of the Technology and Planning subcommittee. Founder and former owner of R. G. Ross Construction Company who employed 50-75 people and revenues of $20-$30M. Mr. Ross sold the company and retired after 25 years of successfully managing and growing the business. Mr. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology and is a Professional Engineer. He also volunteers in several charitable and community organizations.

James O. Pitlyk, PE

Director and member of the Technology and Planning subcommittee. Founder and owner of St. Louis Air Mechanical, Mr. Pitlyk worked as mechanical design engineer and plant engineer. His company employed 35 people with revenues of $8M, which he recently sold after 36 years in the business. Mr. Pitlyk has extensive experience in HVAC and mechanical work, including sales, bidding, project management and support. Jim holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.

David L. Cronin, PhD.

Graduated with BS and PHD in Sociology from St. Louis University and MSW from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. He had his career in higher education for thirty-two years; seven as a faculty member in Social Work at St. Louis University and twenty-five as an administrator for the Brown School at Washington University, retiring as its Associate Dean for Administration. Experiences include: teaching, administration, grant writing, program evaluation and community services.

Elizabeth G. Sims

Former Missouri State Senator (1995-2002). Mrs. Sims bought The Potato Chip Factory in 1982 with 3 employees and sold it in 1990 with 35 employees. Betty has devoted many hours of leadership and volunteerism with a wide array of organizations. Mrs. Sims is now taking a leadership role in bringing a new program to the United States from Australia called “Mental First Aid”. The States of Missouri and Maryland as well as the National Council for Behavioral Health are leading the charge supported by federal Mental Health Funds and approval of SAMHSA. The training program will teach the lay community to recognize the early signs of mental illness and will alert us to problems before something happens like the recent tragedies in our schools and also helps to reduce the tremendous stigma associated with mental illness. Mrs. Sims holds a MBA from SIUE and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Washington University.

William H. Hoffman

CEO of Visualase, Inc., a Houston based medical device company developing and selling lasers for treatment of brain, spine, and prostate cancers. As COO of Rubicor Medical, Mr. Hoffman helped raise $27M of equity funds and brought two products to market within 12 months. Previously employed as Vice President of Sales with FoxHollow Technologies, and Director of Sales at RITA Medical. Mr. Hoffman holds a B.A. degree from Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA.

Andrew D. Schlote PE, Founder and Chief Technical Officer

Mr. Schlote is the founder of the Company and original designer of the IEI Green Energy Power Station, which he conceived prior to attending college. Mr. Schlote has extensive experience in the key target market of the Company. He has an MBA, BS in Mechanical Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He is considered an expert in supersonic turbine design and developed the original patents which have been assigned to the Company. His experience includes management of a 100+ personnel operation, sales, project management and equipment/power generation package manufacture. Mr. Schlote’s experience includes various levels of management and engineering responsibilities at Hussmann Corporation, a company with revenues in excess of $1.3B in 1999 and later acquired by Ingersoll-Rand. He also served as a superintendent for a team of 140 people involved in the production of refrigerated display case parts. While at Hussmann, he helped introduce a new prototype design for the Hussmann Protocol Refrigeration Unit, a design that was awarded the prestigious Corporate Mozart Award.

Mr. Schlote also has international experience in joint manufacturing ventures. While at Hussmann, he was responsible for several facets of a joint venture with Daikin of Japan to develop and market a container refrigeration unit that was to be sold on the global market.Mr. Schlote has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology, an MBA from Webster University and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He is also a certified Novell Netware Systems Manager and a certified Time Study Analyst.

Dennis A. B. Moore

Mr. Moore is the co-founder/co-owner of Solvent Systems, Inc., a computer hardware, sales and service company serving St. Louis for more than 25 years. Currently semi-retired and mostly working on data recovery projects for local businesses, Mr. Moore attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City school of business, with an emphasis in Accounting.
