Glenn Foy, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Foy has a long track record of leading technology-based organizations from their earliest stages to market leadership. Prior to Innovative Energy, Mr. Foy was President of Cardiva Medical, a venture-funded commercial stage Company in the Interventional Cardiology space of medical devices. In his career, Mr. Foy has developed or commercialized technology in business areas such as fighter aircraft, cancer, care of neonates, interventional cardiology, laparoscopic surgery, women’s health, and rocket systems. Since his career has been focused on privately held companies, he has raised over $150M in capital from private individuals to the public markets. Mr. Foy has a B.S. in Engineering, B.S. in Biochemistry, and a M.S. in Management and is a holder of a number of U.S. and foreign patents.
Andrew D. Schlote PE, Founder and Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Schlote is the founder of the Company and original designer of the IEI Green Energy Power Station, which he conceived prior to attending college. Mr. Schlote has extensive experience in the key target market of the Company. He has an MBA, BS in Mechanical Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He is considered an expert in supersonic turbine design and developed the original patents which have been assigned to the Company. His experience includes management of a 100+ personnel operation, sales, project management and equipment/power generation package manufacture. Mr. Schlote’s experience includes various levels of management and engineering responsibilities at Hussmann Corporation, a company with revenues in excess of $1.3B in 1999 and later acquired by Ingersoll-Rand. He also served as a superintendent for a team of 140 people involved in the production of refrigerated display case parts. While at Hussmann, he helped introduce a new prototype design for the Hussmann Protocol Refrigeration Unit, a design that was awarded the prestigious Corporate Mozart Award.
Mr. Schlote also has international experience in joint manufacturing ventures. While at Hussmann, he was responsible for several facets of a joint venture with Daikin of Japan to develop and market a container refrigeration unit that was to be sold on the global market.
Mr. Schlote has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology, an MBA from Webster University and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He is also a certified Novell Netware Systems Manager and a certified Time Study Analyst.
James S. Neumeier, Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Neumeier holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing as well as minors in both Business Administration and Finance from Wayne State University. He has more than 22 years of experience in Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Alliances and Sales Channel Management, as well as national and international commerce experience. Most recently, Mr. Neumeier held the position of President of a global leading video imaging manufacturing company where he grew the organization from $900K in sales, to $28M within 5-1/2 years. Prior to joining Innovative Energy, Mr. Neumeier’s experience also includes, consulting project management for Boeing, Mastercard International, U.S. Army Disa Conus, the U.S. Treasury Department and the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball team.
Thomas J. Mudd, Director of Finance
Mr. Mudd offers 22 years of financial expertise from his experience in manufacturing, financial services and public accounting. He received an Accounting Degree from the University of Missouri St. Louis. His career started as an auditor with an international public accounting firm where he earned his CPA working with clients in manufacturing, financial services and government. Most recently Tom served as the controller of a business forms manufacturer. Tom oversaw all accounting, finance and human resource functions. He was a key member of management that helped grow the company from $1M to over $12M in his 16 years of service.
Robert W. Donaldson, Vice President of Product Realization & Operations
Mr. Donaldson has more than 25 years of experience in achieving strong operational results related to product realization, operations, and quality compliance. He joins IEI from Tri-Mark (a $50M+ automotive systems company) where he was General Manager of the military business unit. Prior to Tri-Mark, Mr. Donaldson served at an executive level in operations and engineering in a number of profitable operating environments. A graduate from Michigan State University with a degree in mechanical engineering, Mr. Donaldson has a uniquely broad skill set that complements IEI’s existing core competence.
